hungry?

what i'd like to share today is erm..i don't think i should say it's interesting, but rather saddening.

not as many photos as i usually will show, but just one, which is quite impactful and meaningful to me.

have you guys ever felt hungry? or starve?
i personally think there is a difference between hungry and starving, what we always feel is hungry instead of starving.

hungry is the feeling of hunger, feeling a need or desire for food.
starving is where you suffering from lack of food, or even die of food deprivation.

this is starvation.

this is Kevin Carter's photo taken 1994 during the Sudane famine.
this is a Pulitzer Prize winning photographs.

we can see a famine stricken child crawling on the ground,
and she was accompanied by the vulture which i believe was waiting for her death,
so it can eat the child's body.

Kevin Carter, the photographer was later became really famous and won the Pulitzer Prize.

Due to the depression of seeing things like this but couldn't help much, he, Kevin Carter commited suicide few weeks after he received the award.

sharing this is just to remind us how lucky we are, and stop spending unnecessary money.
help the poor in any possible way you can, let's make poverty a history.

iloveU.
